Location
Bawley Point is a small coastal hamlet in the Shoalhaven of southern New South Wales, Australia.
Situated between Meroo and Murramarang National Parks, it boasts crowdless sand beaches with pristine waters, rugged bushwalking tracks, panoramic views and a myriad of adventures to be had.
Getting Here
Bawley Point is a 3h 30min drive from Sydney and 2h 30min from Canberra, sitting halfway between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay.

Beaches
Surf, swim, snorkel or sunbake at the bounty of nearby and beautiful beaches, such as; Bawley Point Beach, Shell Beach, Racecourse Beach, Merry Beach, Pretty Beach and Depot Beach.
Enjoy a picnic lunch at Pebbly Beach, which is famous for its resident eastern grey kangaroos. Our personal favourite, Ganet Beach, for some whale and dolphin spotting early in the morning is also a must!

Food & Wine
You’ll find many delicious eateries in the Shoalhaven region, including; The Gunyah near Huskisson, Gwylo in Mollymook, Small Town in Milton and Cupitt’s Estate Restaurant in Ulladulla.
Taste a drop of local wine at the Bawley Vale Estate cellar door. Browse the produce stalls at local markets such as; the Berry Farmers Market, Milton Village Showground Markets and Kangaroo Valley Farmers Market.

Walking Tracks
In the northern section of Murramarang National Park, you’ll find the stunning Pretty Beach to Snapper Point walking track. Enjoy breath-taking ocean views and unspoilt wilderness on this 1km return walk.
Don’t miss the Meroo Head Lookout Walking Track with its spectacular coastal views. It’s a lovely short walk through tall forest to the northern edge of the headland, then you’ll emerge to panoramic views of uninterrupted coastline.
